Condolence From: R.Lee Tollett Powell
Condolence: Mildred was such a special lady to me and my Mother, Eula Tollett. I remember the visits we had so many years ago. A few years ago, I ran into Mildred in Dillard's and had a nice visit with her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Always, R.Lee Tollett Powell

Condolence: Joe and Martha, our mothers were best friends for many years and always had so much fun together. Mom depended on Mildred for so much, and it was Mildred who spent the night with Mom in Texarkana when Daddy had a heart attack. She was so very special and so giving to her friends and family. I will never forget how wonderful she was.

Condolence: Just wanted you to know how sad I am to hear about your Mother's death. I have such fond memories of her. She was always so sweet to us when we were visiting Gang-gang and Tom and she would let us come play at your house. :)
Fast forward many years and I contacted her when we were planning our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Our whole family came over to Nashville to have a service at the Christian church where Mother and Daddy were married. We wanted to go to Gang-gang and Tom's house for our spouses and grandkids to see it. Your mother was so sweet to help us connect with the people who owned the home then. When we got there that afternoon, your mother and some of her friends were on the front porch waiting for us with lemonade and cookies! It was such a special time for all of us (especially Mother). It still brings tears to my eyes now as I think of what a thoughtful gesture that was and what it meant to all of us. Thank you for sharing her with us. We know your loss is great. Our prayers are with you for God to provide peace and that more sweet memories will provide joy and not pain. We say good-by to a special lady!

Condolence: Loves lives on in memories of the heart. May the many beautiful memories of Mildred bring comfort to her family. My mother grew up in Nashville, and I loved visiting my grandparents there through the years. Brother George Kerr was our wonderful pastor at 28th Street Methodist Church in Little Rock when I was a young girl. I remember George Edward, but haven't had any contact with any of the family since they moved from Little Rock. May God's grace grant you peace.
