Margaret “Peggy” Artz Kirby, 85 of Nashville, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, December 27, 2007 in Nashville. She was born April 4, 1922 in Winchester, Va. To the late Samuel H. and Margaret Edna Keller Artz. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Nashville.
Peggy loved making crafts, was a member of the XYZ Club, and loved her Church. She dearly loved working with the kids at her Church.
She was preceded in death by her children’s father F.I. “Coxie” Cox and her 2nd husband Mahlon Kirby, also 1 son, John Floyd Cox and 1 grandson, Chad W. Chambers.
Survivors include1 son, Buddy and wife Nina Cox of Murfreesboro, Ar. 1 daughter, Irene and husband Woody Chambers of Murfreesboro, Ar.
Her Church Deacon and special friend, Bill and Wanda Synder of Nashville, Ar.
6 Great Grandchildren
And a host of other family and friends.
Services will be Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 2 pm. at Nashville Funeral Home with Bro. David Blasé officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Chad Wilson Chambers scholarship fund at Diamond Bank/Murfreesboro
