Forrest Truman “ Boss Hog” Owens, 63 of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born December 25, 1946 in Nashville to the late Forrest Potter and Janie Ruth Rowland Owens. He was a retired truck driver for the Howard County Road Department. Truman was a member of the Harvest Time Assembly of God Church in Murfreesboro. He loved visiting at the local coffee shops. Loved attending gospel and Blue Grass music concerts all over the area. Truman never missed an auction and was a great diesel mechanic. Most of all he was a loving husband, and loved his family. Survivors include his wife of over 23 years, Sylvia Bobo Owens of Nashville 1 daughter, Jennifer Owens of Blevins 1 step-son, Gary Don and wife Kay Walters of McCaskill. 2 grandchildren, Josh and Daniel Walters of McCaskil. A host of other family and friends to numerous to name. Services will be Friday, March 26, 2010 at 1 pm. at Harvest Time Assembly of God Church in Murfreesboro with Pastors Jerry and Jearldean Shinn officiating. Interment will follow in Ozan Cemetery in Bingen. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday night from 6 to 8 pm.
