Frankie Leon Young, 66 of Mineral Springs, AR died Friday July 29, 2005 in a local nursing home. He was born October 3, 1938 in Gernsey, Arkansas to Claud L. and Minnie Brown Young.
Mr. Young was a member of the Mineral Springs Church of Christ, and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He loved gardening, working in his yard, and was an avid Razorback and Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved watching television, especially law shows. He loved four wheeling with the family and family gatherings.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by a son Bosk Young, two sisters, Mamie Young, Ruth L. Bohannon, and one brother, Burlon Young.
Survivors include his wife, Leitha Young of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, two daughters, Jeannie Chambers and husband Jimmy of Nashville, Arkansas, Frankie Darr and husband Steve of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, two sons, Tim Young and wife Patricia of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Myron Young and wife Carol of Texarkana, Arkansas, one brother Sonny Young of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, one nephew, Charles Bohannon of Nashville, Arkansas, fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Services are 10:00AM Monday August 1, 2005 at Nashville Funeral Home with Robert Peek officiating. Burial will follow in Mineral Springs Cemetery under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 7-9pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Mineral Springs Church of Christ.
