Obituary for Brice Otis Westfall

Brice Otis Westfall
Brice Otis Westfall, age 85 of the Nathan community, went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. He was born January 29, 1932 in the Midway community near Nathan to the late Luther Aaron Westfall and Dessie Mae Smith Westfall.
He was a member of the Center Point Missionary Baptist Church, and a retired supervisor for Tyson Foods. Brice loved hunting (hanging out with the guys), taking care of his farm and tending to his garden. Above all, his Lord and his family was most important to him. He taught his children strong values and character of life and it shows throughout his entire family.
Preceding Brice in death was his parents, Three brothers: Byron Dale, Harley O. and Charles D. Westfall.
His survivors include his best friend and the love of his life for over 63 years; Shirley Ann Green Westfall.
A son, Stephen O. and wife Jo’Lee Westfall of Nashville
A daughter, Kimberly A. and husband Phillip Jones of Nashville
Five Grandsons, Stephen L. Westfall, Aaron Westfall, Alex Jones, Chris Jones and Ryan Westfall.
Three Granddaughters, Morgan Rowland, Ashlee Cooper, and Michel Henderson
Five Great- Great Granddaughters as well as a large host of other family and friends too numerous to name.
Graveside services will be Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 2:30 pm in Academy Cemetery in Nathan with Bro. Allen Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at Nashville Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon from 2pm to 4 pm. Memorials may be made to the Center Point Missionary Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
