Robert Dale Brown

Robert Dale Brown, 73, of Yarborough Community in Ashdown, Arkansas left this world Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock surrounded by his family.
Robert Dale was born September 24, 1943 in Boughton, Arkansas to the late Odis Dorth Brown and Mary Christine Smith Brown Wesson. He loved his family and doing for others. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, canning and cooking. Most of all he enjoyed being Papaw.
Survivors include his loyal wife of 54 years, Shirley Ann Presson Brown also of Yarborough. One son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Janie Brown of Hampton, Arkansas. One daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Tim Young of Texarkana, Arkansas. One sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Preston Sirmon of Dequeen, Arkansas. Two brothers and sister-in-laws, Ronnie and Cathy Brown of Hope, Arkansas, and Danny and Andra Brown of Monticello, Arkansas.
Grandchildren include, David Brown of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Cheryl and Gerico Toler of Texarkana, Arkansas, Jordan Brown of Hampton, Arkansas, Jacob Thompson of Big Springs, Texas, Amy and John Dempsey of Bossier City, Louisiana, Jason and Christel Heath of Hampton, Arkansas. Great Grandchildren, Austin, J.T. and Piper Heath, Addison and Brad Dempsey, and Addison, Austin and Dillion Toler. A host of other family and friends to numerous to name.
Services will be Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2 pm at Nashville Funeral Home with Wallace Edger officiating. Interment will follow at 4 pm Saturday in Piney Grove Cemetery near Prescott under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday night from 6 to 8 pm at Nashville Funeral Home. After the service the family will meet at the Boughton Baptist Church for a meet and greet.
