Obituary for Linda Starling (Woodruff)

Linda Starling (Woodruff)
Linda Starling, age 71 of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Nashville, passed away, Friday, December 2, 2016 in Hot Springs. She was born January 12, 1945 in Nashville to the late Hugh Rector and Pauline Eunice Kirkpatrick Woodruff. She was a retire florist for Kroger. Linda had a horticulture degree and had owned her on florist in Nashville called Pleasant Valley Shopp for over ten years. She excelled and was an award-winning Baker. She had entered numerous baking contest and had the ribbons to show for. She had taught at Little Red School House and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Linda was a member of the Aldridge Church of Christ in Pearcy, Arkansas and was a faithful member of the Ladies’ Bible Class.
Preceding her in death was her parents, two husbands; Dale McDaniel and Bob Starling, also two brothers; Doug Woodruff and Eddie Woodruff.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories; a daughter, Paula Belknap-Hill of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and a son Rex McDaniel of Russeville, Arkansas
One sister; Polly Evans of Hot Springs and one brother, Felix Woodruff of Ashdown, Arkansas.
Four grandchildren; Dmitri, Yurti, Desiree and Gracelyn.
2 great Grandchildren; Aiden and Onyx Sage
A large host of other friends.
Services will be Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 1 pm at Aldridge Church of Christ, 326 Aldridge Rd., Pearcy, Arkansas with Toni Esnner officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 pm at Restland Memorial Park in Nashville, with her son Rex McDaniel officiating.
