Sylvester "Pokey" Armstrong Sr.

Sylvester “Pokey” Armstrong, Sr. age 66 of Nashville, Arkansas went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 19, 2016 in Nashville. He was born August 17, 1950 in McCaskill, Arkansas to I.V. and Anne Marie Florence Armstrong.
He enjoyed fishing, singing, spending time with his family and friends, and making people laugh.
Preceding him in death was both of his parents, and a brother; Hiawatha Armstrong.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife; Charlene Armstrong
Children; Anthony Armstrong, Charles Armstrong, Tyrone Armstrong, LaCole Rowe, Markeba Armstrong, Sylvester Armstrong, Jr., and Jermaine Armstrong.
Siblings; L.V. Armstrong, Odell Armstrong, Doris Armstrong, John Wayne Armstrong, and Charles Armstrong, Sr.
Numerous grandchildren
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 12 noon until 2pm at Tollette First Church of God in Christ with funeral services immediately after at 2 pm. in the church with Pastor Charles Green, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Crofton Cemetery under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
