Obituary for Arnold Felix North Sr.

Arnold Felix North Sr.
Arnold Felix North was born on September 25, 1919 and kept an appointment with the Lord on September 7, 2015. He arrived at the Gates of the Kingdom where he now resides with the Lord.
Arnold Felix North was born to the union of Mary Eliza Jane North and Arthur North in Kansas City, Missouri, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was the last of four children. He had two sisters and one brother. Ruth W. Reeves, Bertha V. Oliver and Raymond E. Robinson all whom preceded him in death. He attended school in the Kansas City, Missouri area and was employed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad. He relocated to Los Angles, California where he was employed by the school system.
He previously was married to Susan L. Johnson North in 1937 and to this union two children were born. Janice Louise North-Dudley and Edward Arnold North who both reside in Kansas City, Missouri.
His second marriage was to Helen Massey and to this union five children were born. Arnold L. North, Jr. of Mesa, Arizona, Mary Helen North, Margaret North, Gary North and Raymond North all of Los Angles, California.
He is survived by his loving wife Girlie North of the home in Nashville, Arkansas, his seven children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, and nephews who will cherish his memory. His presence will be sorely missed.
Arnold was a great outdoorsman. He loved to fish and hunt; he could sit on the fishing banks for hours on end. He also was a great cook and no stranger to the kitchen. Although the world has lost one of the kindest persons to ever inhabit the earth, heaven has gained another beautiful soul.
Services for Mr. North will be Friday, September 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm in St. John CME Church near Nashville, Arkansas with Reverend Jackie Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
