Obituary for James Marshall

James  Marshall
James Edward Marshall, was born to Jeffie and Benjamin Marshall on July 12, 1925 the 9th of eleven (11) children in the St. Paul Community near Nashville. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
James was a loving father and husband. He worked many years as a body and fender repairman to support his family. He loved cooking for his family and friends and was well known for his famous Tee Cakes.
He leaves to cherish his memory;
His wife of 64 years- Winnie Marshall, married June 26, 1950.
One daughter- Gwendolyn (Phillip) Jones, Nashville, and their 5 children, Shenese (Darius) Brimley, Phylesha Jones, Brittney Marshall, Bernard) Tiffany) Jones, and Christopher Jones.
Three sons- Travis (Deborah) Marshall, Nashville, and their 5 children, Corey Livingston, Daryl Benson, Tremaine (Keisha) Pryor, Tenia Marshall, and Trais Marshall.
Tandell Marshall,and his son Tramelle White, Nashville
Troace Marshall, Nashville, and his 2 children, Tova Marshall and Mia Stewart.
13 Great-grandchildren
One sister- Ruthie Inell Hill, Nashville
A special Nephew: Windell Whitmore of Los Angeles, California.
And a host of other Nieces, Nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Six Sisters: Elessie Whitmore, Exie Pearson, Pearlene Marshall, Charlene Cannon, Elizabeth Dixon and Allie Gaines. Three Brothers: Lee Davis Marshall, Willie Floyd Marshall and Kelsey Marshall.
Services will be Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 am. at Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville, with interment to follow in St. Paul Cemetery near Nashville. A wake will be held Friday night from 6 to 8 pm. at Nashville Funeral Home.
