Condolence From: Susan Watson Bollman
Condolence: To the family you have made it thru a year without our precious Melba. I know it hasn't been easy, but I pray that God has held you close. I miss the old gal more than you will ever know. It's been hard going to some singings knowing she would be there, but wasn't. However, I found comfort in knowing that she is strong, healthy and singing as loud as she can sing in that Heavenly choir. I pray that God continues to comfort you and hold you close. Remember you are all very special to me.

Condolence From: Janie Hutson Sills
Condolence: To our dear cousins, Pat, Sheila and Deloris, and all the family of Melba Hutson Bounds: We want to express our love and prayers for your comfort and peace at this time of the homegoing of our dear Melba. We did not get to see her or any of you very often in this lifetime, but we were all born in the same area, and remember our sweet growing up years, until 1952 when we moved to Oregon, Mary Helen and Wanda Jo following later. We are sorry we could not be there today, but we thought of you all day. Sending much love from all our family, the children of your Uncle Clyde and Aunt Mary and son, James, who are reunited with Melba now....Mary Helen Hutson Troutman, Wanda Jo Hutson Wood, Janie P Hutson Sills, and husband, John, and all our families in Oregon....and a few other states.

Condolence From: Leslie Belding (Damon and Garrett)
Condolence: We were deeply saddened to learn of Aunt Melba’s death. We send our love and prayers. Aunt Melba will always be remembered for her radiant, warm smile, caring heart, and beautiful singing voice. What fun times we had singing at the Bounds Family gatherings! There were times I’d just stop and listen to take it all in and cherish the moment. Now, she’s singing like never before…what a beautiful sound that must be! Till we meet again, Aunt Melba. Much love.

Condolence From: The Morrison Family
Condolence: We will always remember Aunt Melba's sweet spirit, beautiful voice and (from my girls) polished fingernails! I loved sitting close at family reunion "sing a-longs" so that I could clearly hear Aunt Melba sing! We will miss her, but know that we will see her again!

Condolence: I was looking at the paper this morning & wondering when I saw the obit. if it was the Melba that was named after my Mother. So I looked down into the sisters & saw Pats name that is named after me. This is a time to remember things from the past & pray for happier times. I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your lose. Condolence From: Joyce Bounds Archer
Condolence: Melba was a special addition to our family--a loving, happy, caring, talented lady. She and I shared a room at several family gatherings. She was a very special sister-in-law to me. I wish I could be there to celebrate her this Thursday. My prayers are with the family and I look forward to seeing Melba when she and I both are in that heavenly choir-both in the alto section! May your Christian light shine on here on earth, Melba! With my love,Joyce

I can hear you on Ill Meet you in the Morning when I was directing and trying to get all I could our of the Alto Section.

Condolence From: Sherry Pody
Condolence: What a beautiful lady - her smile and sparkling eyes ready to greet friends, old and new. She knew how to enjoy life as she traveled over the country meeting with gospel singing friends and blessed others with her awesome alto voice. We have very fond, happy memories of Melba as the Pody Family traveled to sing over the years. We were always delighted to be where Melba was and knew she contributed to the success of every convention. We look forward to singing with her again when we meet on that beautiful shore.

Unable to attend services for Melba. We loved her
