Obituary for Willie Dell Lindsey

Willie Dell Lindsey
Willie Dell Lindsey, age 72 of Nashville, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 8, 2013 in Texarkana. She was born July 26, 1940 in Dierks, Arkansas to the late Wash Oliver and Florence Stokes McElhanon. She was retired from Howard Manufacturing as well as Wal Mart. Willie Dell was a long-time faithful member of 1st Assembly of God Church in Nashville. She was a lady devoted to her God, her family and her friends. Family was Willie Dell’s life, especially her grandchildren. She considered them her charms. She loved sewing and cooking and was known for helping others first, putting herself last. She was the youngest of 3 sisters. She was very instrumental along with her husband helping start Nashville Funeral Home. She will be greatly missed by all.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Raymond Clyde Lindsey, who passed away June 7, 1995.
Her survivors include:
1 daughter, Kimbra and husband Dewey Conatser of Nashville
1 step-daughter, LaWren and husband Jerry Gunter of Bryan, Texas
2 step-sons, Randy and wife Molly Lindsey of Mena
Devin and wife Diane Lindsey of West Columbia, Texas
2 sisters; Helen Tallant of Murfreesboro, Arkansas
Kathleen Turbeville of Italy, Texas
2 granddaughters;
Samantha and husband Adam Young of Nashville
Staci Conatser of Nashville
4 step- grandsons and 2 step-granddaughters as well as numerous Great grandchildren.
Also a host of nieces, nephews other family and friends.
Services will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 2 pm at Nashville Funeral Home with Bob Young and David Cassady officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Christus St. Michael Cancer Center or to the charity of your choice.
