Coy Pope Ponder, age 87 formerly of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, October 11, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born, January 12, 1925 in Nashville to the late Hugh and Willard Pope Ponder. Mr. Ponder was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Nashville and an Army veteran of WWII. He was the retired owner of Coy Ponder Products in Nashville. Mr. Ponder was a long time member of the Nashville Rotary Club, enjoyed golfing, woodworking and sports. He loved watching the Razorbacks, Dallas Cowboys and keeping up with the Scrappers. He had contributed a lot of innovations, inventions, and improvements in the poultry industry when it was beginning in Arkansas. He was a pioneer in the industry. Each year he would sponsor a little league team which many boys in Nashville had played on. He was also a professional member of the local coffee clubs.
Preceding him in death were his parents, grandparents and step-father.

Benjamin Ponder, Jacob Ponder, Beth Ann Davenport, Melanie Fox, Hayden Ponder, Hannah Ponder and Kaitlin Ponder.
