Amy Peebles (Peebles)
On Tuesday, September 11th, 2012, Amy Suzanne Peebles went to be with her family and friends in heaven. She was born February 4th, 1972 in Little Rock, Arkansas on a snowy Friday morning. Amy was raised in Nashville, AR where she graduated high school in 1990. Her crowning achievement came when she represented our local area as Miss West Central Arkansas in 1995 in the Miss Arkansas Pageant. Amy graduated with a BA in History from Texas AM Texarkana and a Master’s degree in social work from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is survived by her husband, Eric Quinney, of Nashville; her daughter, Anastasia Peebles, of Nashville; her parents, Dr. Samuel and Suzanne Peebles, of Nashville; her mother and father in-law, Mr. Ernest and Linda Quinney, of Delight; two grandparents, Martha and James Jones, of Nashville; a brother, Damon Peebles and his wife, Michelle, of Nashville, with their children Kaden, Breanna, and Andrew; another brother, Samuel Peebles Jr. and girlfriend, Amanda Fronabarger, of Conway; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as evidence by your presence today. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 5pm-8pm at the Nashville, Arkansas Funeral home. The funeral will be at 4pm on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Nashville, Arkansas Sunset Church of Christ. Honorary pallbearers are Spencer Carolina, James Paul McCrary, Bill Moorer, Anthony Quinney, Larry Peebles, David Peebles, and Harvey Peebles. Monetary donations may be made to the Arkansas Coalition Against Domestic Violence in her memory.
